1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Docnostix platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Docnostix provides an AI-powered Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Contract Intelligence platform for healthcare providers. The Service includes claim submission, denial management, appeal generation, payer contract analysis, eligibility verification, and related analytics tools.

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Permitted Use

The Service is intended for use by licensed healthcare providers and their authorized staff for legitimate revenue cycle management purposes. You agree not to misuse the Service or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Healthcare Data & HIPAA

Use of the Service involving Protected Health Information (PHI) is governed by the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) executed between your organization and Docnostix. The BAA supplements these Terms with respect to PHI handling obligations.

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate recommendations, appeal letters, coding suggestions, and analytics. AI-generated outputs are provided as decision-support tools and do not constitute medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content before use.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Docnostix and protected by intellectual property laws. Your data remains your property. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docnostix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with reasonable written notice. Upon termination, we will provide a reasonable period for you to export your data. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or via email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
